First Lady Lekesha L. Coleman is the devoted and loving wife to Pastor Anthony T. Coleman and serves in ministry alongside him at New Zion Christian Fellowship Church in Dolton, Illinois. She is also a loving mother to Jayda, Kelsen, and Kaulen, who are her pride and joy. Lady Coleman is the CEO and Director of Women of Empowerment (W.O.E.), LLC, where her mission is “Supporting the Whole Woman—Spiritually, Emotionally, Physically, and Financially.” With her tagline, “Healthy and Whole,” she empowers and encourages women daily to pursue their destinies by aligning themselves with Biblical principles and striving for emotional wholeness. A passionate believer in the power of prayer, Lady Coleman encourages women to reach their highest potential. She carries a mantle of prayer that surges the hearts and minds of believers. Lady Coleman is known for her powerful teachings, including “Full Access,” “The Power of Prayer,” and “Unshakable Faith,” as well as many other life-changing messages. Lady Coleman has taught numerous sessions on impactful prayers, including how to pray, developing intimacy in prayer, and other aspects of prayer as God provides direction. ​ Professionally, Lady Coleman serves as a Principal for Chicago Public Schools, where she dedicates herself to supporting the academic and social-emotional learning (SEL) development of all students. As an instructional leader, she provides dynamic professional development sessions to challenge and motivate her team to focus on impactful practices that influence inner-city youth. Lady Coleman is also a life coach, offering mentorship to help women achieve their goals and dreams with practical strategies that can be applied professionally, personally, and spiritually. Her clients love and value her effective, implementable strategies for managing distractions, setting priorities, and achieving daily objectives and life goals. Lady Coleman holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Concordia University, a Master of Arts in Special Education from Roosevelt University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She has a deep desire to please God in all she does. Lady Coleman loves God and shares the good news of Jesus Christ wherever she goes.
